star this property answer text <p>The Armed Forces Covenant was officially launched in 2011 and was initially supported by the Community Covenant Grant Scheme which ran for four years between 2011 and 2015.</p><p> </p><p>The table below details the value of funds awarded to Yorkshire and Humberside in this period. star this property answer text <p>The aim of Continuity of Education Allowance (CEA) is to assist Service personnel to achieve continuity of education for their children that would otherwise be denied in the state-maintained day school sector, due to the mobility of families as result of consecutive assignments, both in the UK and overseas.</p><p> </p><p>CEA is an allowance claimed by qualifying Service personnel, within a strict governance framework, which is then paid to qualifying schools, all of which are in the United Kingdom (Great Britain and Northern Ireland). star this property answer text <p>The policy proposal outlined in the public consultation seeks to waive the current settlement application cost of £2,389 for Service personnel who have served a minimum of their initial engagement period of 12 years when they leave the UK Armed Forces. The number of non-UK Service personnel leaving at this point in their service varies each year.</p><p>Until the public consultation closes and a decision is made regarding the final policy, it is too early to know exactly how many non-UK Service personnel may be eligible for a fee waiver if they choose to settle in the UK on discharge and what the associated costs are likely to be.</p> more like this
