Its consultation on tips, gratuities, service and cover charges sought views on a range of actions to address issues associated with tipping practices. The public consultation received 172 responses. star this property answer text <p>Like all departments, BEIS is planning for a number of EU Exit scenarios to make sure we are ready on Day 1.</p><p>Over £250m of additional funding has been approved across a number of departments in 2017/18 to prepare for Brexit.</p><p>BEIS has received additional funding this year to meet new pressures arising from Brexit preparations.</p><p>Additional funding received from the reserve for 2017/8 will be set out at Supplementary Estimates.</p><p>The costs of EU Exit in 2018-19 will be affected by negotiations over the coming months.</p> more like this

It considers a wide range of economic indicators to determine which has the greater impact on levels of personal insolvency. Over the last five years, the analysis has shown that total household debt is a better indicator of personal insolvency movements than levels of credit card debt.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>The three Government approved Tenancy Deposit Schemes in England help ensure that tenants are treated fairly at the end of their tenancy through protecting deposits.</p><p>A deposit can be protected in a custodial scheme where the deposit is paid (submitted) and held by the scheme until the end of the tenancy. The scheme will pay the deposit back (return) to the tenant if they have fulfilled all their obligations at the end of the tenancy. A deposit can also be protected in an insured scheme, where the landlord or agent holds the deposit and pays it back to the tenant at the end of the tenancy.
