As the leading European Ally, the UK makes significant contributions to operations, including as framework nation for the enhanced Forward Presence deployment in Estonia as well as in operations and defence activity from the High North to the Baltic region, the Balkans, the Mediterranean and the Middle East. We regularly contribute to NATO's enhanced Air Policing mission, to the NATO Readiness Force and to Standing NATO Maritime Groups. Working on a rolling timeline of five years, we are firmly commitmed to Estonia's regional security, through eFP and NATO, and I have made it clear that we will continue our presence for as long as it is required.</p> more like this

NHS England is meeting with Capita on a weekly basis to oversee the delivery of these plans and to ensure the right improvements are in place to address the backlogs and delays.</p><p> </p><p>My hon. star this property answer text <p>The GP Patient Survey is conducted by an independent contractor on behalf of NHS England. The current contract (2016-19) is being delivered by Ipsos MORI, as was the previous contract (2013-16). It is not appropriate to provide the precise costs paid to the survey provider, as this is commercially sensitive information. Over the contract period 2013-16, the budget of the GP Patient Survey was approximately £4 million per year. For the current contract, which began in July 2016, the budget is approximately £3.5 million per year.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>As set out in the ‘Stable Homes, Built on Love’ implementation strategy, it is the department’s intention to increase provision and take-up of ‘supported lodgings’ models, where care leavers live in a family environment with support to develop independent living skills.</p><p>The current guidance, ‘Making a difference: Supported lodgings as a housing option for young people’, is available to all local authorities and aimed at advising on the planning and commissioning of supported lodgings. star this property answer text <p>The Government is committed to promoting fairness and transparency for homeowners and ensuring that consumers are protected from abuse and poor service. Where people pay estate rentcharges it is not appropriate that these homeowners have limited rights to challenge these costs.</p><p>That is why the Government intends to legislate to give freeholders on private and mixed tenure estates equivalent rights to leaseholders to challenge the reasonableness of estate rentcharges as well as a right to apply to the First-tier Tribunal to appoint a new manager to manage the provision of services covered by estate rentcharges.</p><p>We will translate these measures into law as soon as parliamentary time allows.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>Kenya is not included on the Majority English Speaking Country (MESC) for immigration purposes, so applicants from Kenya must meet the English language requirement in another way.</p><p>Student applicants are currently required to show a B1 or B2 competency level on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, depending on their course of study. There are several ways they can prove this:</p><ul><li>having shown they meet the requirement in a previous immigration application; or</li><li>passing a Secure English Language Test at an approved test centre; or</li><li>holding a degree-level qualification which was taught in English; or</li><li>having their chosen university or other Higher Educational Institution self-certify their level of English ability; or</li><li>having a GCSE, A-level, Scottish National Qualification at level 4 or 5 or, Scottish Higher or Advanced Higher, in English following education at a UK school begun when they were under-18.</li></ul><p>Our assessment is these options provide an appropriate means for applicants for student visas from Kenya to meet the English language requirement.</p>

star this property answer text <p>The responses to the Protect Duty consultation, which closed on 2nd July, provides a basis for Government to consider the scope and requirements of the Protect Duty, alongside assessing the impacts on those parties potentially within scope. These considerations will also consider the potential for unintended consequences and indirect implications of introducing the Duty.</p><p>The Government is mindful places of worship differ significantly in the nature of their function and operation from other locations potentially within the scope of the Protect Duty proposals. This is balanced against the threat posed by terrorism, and a need to ensure there are effective security measures at public places, regardless of their nature.</p><p>The Government will be carefully considering the issues raised within the consultation and our engagement events, including those discussed with representatives of different faith communities, before considering next steps.</p> more like this
