	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 08/10/2019 answer text <p>On 16 April this year, the Government announced it will fully fund a scheme to provide access to free period products in schools and colleges in England. We are developing this scheme in conjunction with schools and 16-19 education providers to ensure it best meets the needs of all learners. We are committed to encouraging the use of sustainable products where possible and will work with stakeholders to explore whether this can be integrated into the scheme. In addition, in light of the period poverty initiative, NHS Supply Chain plans to widen the scope of the sanitary products available to the NHS. This will include focusing on providing more sustainable, non-plastic products such as menstrual cups and washable sanitary towels.</p><p> </p><p>The Resources and Waste Strategy sets out the Government’s plans to reduce plastic pollution and to move towards a more circular economy. The strategy outlines the actions we will take to encourage producers to take more responsibility for the lifespan of their products and make sure these are more carefully designed with resource efficiency and waste prevention in mind. Our ambition is to eliminate all avoidable plastic waste throughout the lifetime of the 25 Year Environment Plan, and for the most problematic plastics we are going faster. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 23/10/2019 answer text <p>Sustainable biomass is currently eligible for support under the Contract for Difference (CFD), the Smart Export Guarantee (SEG) and the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI).</p><p> </p><p>We have announced that all support for coal to biomass conversions will end in 2027.</p><p> </p><p>The consultation on ‘Renewable Heat Incentive: biomass combustion in urban areas’ included the question of excluding new biomass installations in urban areas on the gas grid. A government response will be published in due course. That is why we have introduced the landmark Domestic Abuse Bill, which had its Second Reading on 2 October and will be carried over to the next Parliamentary session.</p><p>Employers should take all steps which are reasonably possible to ensure their health, safety and wellbeing of their employees.</p><p>We know that 97% of employers offer some form of flexible working. Many employers also offer compassionate leave or special leave to employees to enable them to take time to deal with a wide range of circumstances. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 11/06/2019 answer text <p>We are aware of the rise in young people self-harming, which is why we included a new key area for action to address self-harming in the cross-government National Suicide Prevention Strategy in 2017.</p><p>Our close work with the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport on its Online Harms White Paper will also help to tackle online harms associated with harmful suicide and self-harm content across the internet, including social media.</p><p>We continue to fund research into self-harming through the multi-centre study for self-harm in England, which will look at self-harming in children and young people in more detail over the next two years.</p><p>Through the NHS Long Term Plan we have also invested £249 million to ensure every emergency department has a mental health liaison team in place by 2020/21, which are well placed to treat people who present at hospital for self-harm. The Plan also commits to developing integrated models of primary and community care to support people with complex needs, including self-harming.</p><p>Investment in the Mental Health Five Year Forward View and NHS Long Term Plan will deliver timely, high-quality mental health support, including by 2023/24. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 19/06/2019 answer text <p>The Government recognises the impact that debt and financial difficulty can have on men’s mental health and wellbeing and that men are at a higher risk of suicide.</p><p> </p><p>The National Suicide Prevention Strategy highlights groups that need tailored approaches to address their mental health needs to reduce their suicide risk, including men. Every local authority has a suicide prevention plan in place and we are investing £25 million over the next three years to support these local plans. We have worked with NHS England and Public Health England to ensure that this funding is used to test different approaches to reaching men in local communities.</p><p> </p><p>We are working with the local government sector to assess the effectiveness of those plans, and a report will be published shortly that will highlight areas of best practice and areas for improvement. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 25/06/2019 answer text <p>In the 2015 funding settlement, the Government agreed with the BBC that responsibility for the concession will transfer to the BBC in June 2020.</p><p>The government and the BBC agreed this is a fair deal for the BBC - in return we closed the iPlayer loophole and committed to increase the licence fee in line with inflation. And to help with financial planning, we agreed to provide phased transitional funding over 2 years to gradually introduce the cost to the BBC.</p><p>This reform was subject to public discussion and debated extensively during the passage of the Digital Economy Act 2017 through Parliament.</p><p>On 10 June 2019, the BBC <a href="https://www.bbc.com/aboutthebbc/reports/consultation/age-related-tv-licence-policy" target="_blank">announced</a> that the current scheme will end. From 1 June 2020, a free TV licence will only be available to a household with someone aged over 75 who receives Pension Credit.</p><p>The table below provides estimates of the costs for 2017/18 of providing free TV licences to people aged 75 and over in the geographical areas requested, in nominal prices.
