A non-adverse decision is a decision found in favour of the claimant, i.e. a sanction
or disallowance is not applied.</p><p>3. An adverse decision is a decision found against
the claimant, i.e. a sanction or disallowance is applied.</p><p>4. Year of Decision:
The year in which the decision on the sanction referral was made. 2013 only includes
data up to and including the 30<sup>th</sup> September, which this is the latest data
available.</p><ol start="5" type="1"><li>The low numbers in 2011 are a result of previous
employment programmes ending.</li></ol><p>6. New regulations introduced a new revised
sanctions regime for ESA claimants from 3<sup>rd </sup>December 2012. Details can
