It continues to work closely with the National Shipbuilding Office.</p><p>In line with our international obligations the replacement Border Force vessels will be compliant with IMO (International Maritime Organisation) MARPOL Annex VI “Regulations for the Prevention of Air Pollution from Ships” Tier III emission standards. T We will consider hybrid power, modified internal combustion engine (ICE) developments and alternative fuel systems.
