The Government’s response to the review of 'The Smoke and Carbon Monoxide (England) Regulations 2015' must take account of the recommendations from the Independent Review of Building Regulations and Fire Safety, led by Dame Judith Hackitt. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 16/01/2018 answer text <p>The link between access to nature and health has been long established, as both the built and natural environments are major determinants of health and wellbeing. <br> <br> This is already recognised in the Planning Practice Guidance and as part of the core planning principles in the National Planning Policy Framework. <br> <br> Local planning authorities should ensure that health and wellbeing are considered in local and neighbourhood plans and in their consideration of applications, including the provision of high quality open spaces and green infrastructure.
