star this property answer text <p>Under Rule 21 of the Detention Centre Rules 2001, if detainees on admission to an immigration removal centre (IRC) wish to declare that they belong to a particular religion, that information must be recorded. This information is recorded by the IRC service providers on their own internal detainee management systems and is used to inform the religious provision available at the IRC.</p><p>Due to the differing recording methods in place at each of the individual centres information on the religion of people detained in IRCs in each of the last five years could only be provided at disproportionate cost.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>Mandate plays an important part in facilitating the resettlement of refugees in various locations across the world. There is no specific quota or target for the number of people resettled via Mandate. The referral of cases (and the corresponding numbers of arrivals) under Mandate is dependent on the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) identifying cases which meet its criteria. This criteria can be found in the UNHCR Resettlement Handbook under the UK’s country chapter available at <a href="http://www.unhcr.org/40ee6fc04.html" target="_blank">http://www.unhcr.org/40ee6fc04.html</a><br>We publish a breakdown of arrivals under our resettlement schemes as part of the Immigration Statistics Quarterly Release, which was most recently updated on 30 November, however we do not publish a disaggregation of those resettled to immediate or extended family members.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>Accommodation providers are required to provide safe, habitable, fit for purpose and correctly equipped accommodation that complies with the Decent Homes Standard in addition to standards outlined in relevant national or local housing legislation.</p><p><br>The contract requires Providers to visit and inspect each property every month and UKVI inspects a significant proportion of properties each year to ensure standards are being met. Where asylum accommodation is found to be falling short of the required standards UKVI has procedures in place to inspect, investigate and quickly resolve when specific information is received and a contract management regime to monitor supplier performance and take measures where appropriate.</p> more like this
