The Homes and Communites Agency has offered a conversation with local authorities whose garden village proposals were not selected to establish how they might be supported to progress their ambitions.</p><p>We want local areas to be ambitious and want to encourage well developed locally led proposals that will provide high quality, transformational housing growth.</p> more like this

These were unsuccessful.</p><p>South Gloucestershire Council also submitted a joint application for Large Sites and Housing Zones capacity funding in 2016/17 with Bath and North East Somerset Council, Bristol City Council and North Somerset Council. This funding application included some sites within the Thornbury and Yate constituency. The funding application was unsuccessful.</p> more like this

unstar this property answer text <p>Since 2010, we have reformed the national curriculum, GCSEs and A levels to set world-class standards across all subjects.</p><p>We have also committed to 75% of pupils in state-funded mainstream schools studying the EBacc combination of core academic subjects by September 2022 and 90% by September 2025.</p><p>The attainment gap between those from disadvantaged backgrounds and other pupils has fallen by 13% in primary schools and 9.5% at Key Stage 4 since 2011.</p> more like this
