	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 16/04/2018 answer text <p>Football clubs face many challenges in maintaining their facilities, supporting participation and fulfilling many other important community roles.</p><p> </p><p>Through the Football Foundation, jointly funded by the DCMS, The Football Association and the Premier League over £595 million in grants have been provided for community clubs to help create new changing rooms, playing surfaces and stadia improvements since its inception in 2000.</p><p> </p><p>Football clubs and their supporters can also take advantage of the powers contained within the Localism Act 2011 to list their stadiums as Assets of Community Value. Nearly 40 stadiums are currently listed.</p><p> </p><p>Clubs remain an important part of local communities and DCMS will continue to work with the football authorities and influential fan groups like Supporters Direct to help provide support to community clubs. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 17/07/2018 answer text <p>Headline findings from evidence work undertaken by Government have shown that Social Impact Bonds can successfully address complex social problems through innovative practice and help individuals who have multiple needs.</p><p> </p><p>Where Social Impact Bonds have launched, they have demonstrated evidence of both improved outcomes and reductions in high cost events, such as the entry of looked after children into residential care. We will keep the speed and quality parameters under review to make sure that it keeps pace with consumers' evolving needs.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>In addition, the Government’s ambition is for full fibre to 15 million premises by 2025 and nationwide coverage by 2033. On 23 July, the Government published its Future Telecoms Infrastructure Review, setting out approach to achieving our targets by promoting competition and commercial investment.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>The Government is also investing in full fibre connectivity through our £280 million Local Full Fibre Networks programme. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 30/04/2018 answer text <p>The Department regularly discusses with housing developers how high speed broadband connectivity can be delivered to new housing developments.</p><p> </p><p>In early 2016, DCMS brokered an agreement between Openreach and the Home Builders Federation (HBF) so that all new build developments would be offered with Fibre to the Premises (FTTP) for free, or as part of a co-funded initiative. This agreement - between the largest home builders organisation, whose members contribute approximately 80% of all private new homes in England and Wales, and the largest network provider - continues to be refined and improved, with input from DCMS. Originally, the threshold was for developments of 250 units or above, then lowered to 100, and is 30 today. Virgin Media and GTC - another infrastructure provider - have similar agreements with the HBF.</p><p> </p><p>Rural connectivity is a priority and my officials are working with Defra, MHCLG and industry stakeholders to ensure that high quality digital connectivity reaches all areas of the UK.</p><p> </p><p>My Department’s Barrier Busting Task Force continue to engage with the HBF and other house builders and further to this are exploring policy options that will make provisions for ultrafast broadband to be standard in all new homes, ensuring that residents receive the connectivity they deserve.</p> answering member printed Lord Ashton of Hyde question first answered 30/04/2018 16:21:33 answering member 4247 label Biography information for Lord Ashton of Hyde

Local authorities publish updated information on the provisions of Assets of Community Value (ACVs) designed to protect sports clubs among other assets.</p><p> </p><p>Out of a total of 2,767 ACVs that were listed, 155 (or 6%) were sports ACVs. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 08/02/2018 answer text <p>We are committed to tackling childhood obesity and supporting people to make healthy choices.</p><p> </p><p>Strict new rules came into effect on 1 July 2017 banning the advertising of high in fat, salt or sugar (HFSS) food or drink products in children’s media. These restrictions apply across all non-broadcast media including in print, cinema, online and in social media.</p><p> </p><p>In addition in August 2017 we announced £5 million investment in a policy research unit on obesity to provide a robust evidence, evaluation and research capability including looking at advertising and promotions.</p><p> </p><p>Advertising is regulated by the independent Advertising Standards Authority and underpinned by consumer protection legislation. This system is independent of the Government.
