As such, they retain their entitlement to Universal Credit and as such there is no end to their Universal Credit claim, and no requirement for them to reclaim.</p><p> </p><p>If the hospitalised claimant is part of a couple, their joint claim will continue, so long as the claimant is or is expected to be discharged within six months. When one partner remains in hospital for longer than six months, we would expect the joint claim to end and an individual claim to be made. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 28/11/2018 answer text <p>Abingdon Green is owned by the House of Commons but day to day access is delegated by the Clerk of the House to Black Rod. Current policy is to allow public access to the Green to enable them to pass through on the paths or to use it as a recreational space. Because of the unique views that the Green affords to Parliament, we also allow the media to use the Green for the contemporaneous news reporting of events within Parliament on the basis that this is an important way of communicating to the public the political issues that are taking place. We do not permit protests or campaigning on the Green.</p><p>There are occasions when events in Parliament create exceptional media activity and demand for broadcasting space on the Green. When this occurs, we conduct a careful assessment on whether to prioritise broadcasting over public access and where the balance of public interest lies. Although we prefer to maintain dual use of the Green by public and media, on some occasions we assess that reporting from the Green must be prioritised and that it is necessary to close it to the public for safety reasons. Not to do so would limit the ability of a wide section of the broadcast media, both national, international and radio to provide high quality coverage of unfolding events in Parliament and interview the politicians involved in a secure manner.</p><p>Regarding a permanent media centre, no consideration is currently being given to this. Most media (including broadcast) arrangements are covered through the existing press lobby arrangements. Under this, nominated members of the media are accredited with membership of the Press Gallery and allocated desk space within the House of Commons and given press passes which allow access to the building. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 17/12/2018 answer text <p>Accommodation providers are required to provide safe, habitable, fit for purpose and correctly equipped accommodation that complies with the Decent Homes Standard in addition to standards outlined in relevant national or lo-cal housing legislation.</p><p>The contract requires providers to inspect each property every month and UKVI inspects a significant proportion of properties each year to ensure standards are being met. We particularly welcome the commitments in the joint statement to a 'lasting ceasefire' in Idlib and to formation of a Constitutional Committee by the end of 2018. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 17/12/2018 answer text <p>DFID welcomes the audit of the Facility for Refugees in Turkey (FRIT) by the European Court of Auditors (ECA), published in November. The ECA’s report highlights the success of the FRIT in mobilising a swift response to the crisis and delivering projects that have provided helpful support to Syrian refugees in Turkey. DFID supports the ECA’s recommendations for further improvements to the FRIT, including improving access to primary data for two programmes (representing €382 million of FRIT expenditure). The ECA notes that the anonymised data provided by the Government of Turkey for these projects has made the European Commission’s monitoring and evaluation less effective.</p><p> </p><p>The UK remains an active member of the FRIT Steering Committee and maintains a regular dialogue – at all levels – with the Government of Turkey on the FRIT. We have used our position to influence the FRIT to be more sustainable and maintain focus on supporting the most vulnerable, as well as challenging the European Commission to improve its monitoring and evaluation framework. We recognise that a thriving civil society and strong, independent institutions are key to achieving these objectives. The Government is already providing targeted assistance to Moldova, Belarus and Ukraine through its Global Britain, Good Governance and Conflict, Stability and Security Funds and will commit over £17 million towards these countries this year.</p><p>In Belarus, the UK is funding a number of projects on human rights and economic reform. This includes projects on improved access to justice for children, preventing domestic violence and improved transparency in financial reporting of state-owned enterprises.</p><p>In Moldova, the UK is providing support to civil society on local government accountability and independent media. We are also providing support to State institutions, especially in the financial and banking sectors.</p><p>In Ukraine, the UK is providing programme assistance to institutions including the National Anti-Corruption Bureau, the Cabinet of Ministers, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, and the Ukrainian Public Broadcaster. In some circumstances this period can be extended up to 12 days. For the suspect then to remain in detention, they must be charged and their detention must be approved by a court. According to a statement by the Turkish Justice Minister on 20 November, there are 57,000 people in detention in Turkey whose sentence has not been confirmed. Some of these individuals may be awaiting their first hearing. Others will be part way through their hearing at a first instance court. Others will have been convicted by a first instance court but are appealing their conviction.
