It is the Government's view that the time has come for Kosovo's judiciary to take on all responsibility for the adjudication of legal cases, including cases of sexual violence. During EULEX's reconfiguration period of 15 June to 14 December, case files will be handed over to the relevant Kosovo institutions, with the exception of classified files held or originated by the United Nations Mission in Kosovo (UNMIK), Kosovo Force (KFOR), Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) or EULEX itself. For access to such classified files, the Kosovo authorities must contact the relevant international organisation directly. Prior to the handover of case files, EULEX or its successor will conduct a full document review to ensure witness security and judicial integrity.

We are appalled that civilian infrastructure has been hit, including 24 health facilities, and by reports of civilian casualties and mass displacement. We are using public statements, diplomatic relationships and international fora, including the UN Security Council, to increase the pressure on all parties to end the violence, return to the ceasefire agreed in September 2018 and abide by their obligations under international humanitarian law. Through the Conflict, Stability and Security Fund, the UK is supporting innovative new technology that provides civilians in Idlib with early warnings of airstrikes in order to save lives. We also continue to support international efforts to document violations of international humanitarian law being committed in Idlib.
more like this

star this property answer text
The Prime Minister demonstrated the British Government's commitment to promoting freedom of religion or belief when in July this year she appointed me as her special envoy. The British Government sees International Religious Freedom Day on 27 October as an opportunity to reflect on the persecution suffered around the world by people due to their religion or beliefs; and to promote respect between communities. The British Government will mark the day on social media, and through an event jointly hosted by myself and Lord Bates on 7 November to mark the occasion. We will also use the occasion to re-issue the Foreign and Commonwealth Office's toolkit on Freedom of Religion or Belief to all of our overseas embassies and missions across our global network, and encourage them to promote and defend this important human right. Finally we are pleased that almost £1 million of funding has been allocated to pursue our freedom of religion or belief policy objectives through the Magna Carta Fund for Human Rights and Democracy.
