In July 2019, Ofcom published its report and recommendations on how the prominence regime may need to change to ensure that Public Service Broadcasting programming remains easy to find regardless of how viewers are watching and accessing content. The report included recommendations for new legislation. The Government is giving careful consideration to Ofcom’s recommendations, and will set out next steps in due course.
