star this property answer text <p>Ministers have considered the latest evidence on the effective deployment and professional development of teaching assistants, together with a summary of the call for evidence and the draft teaching assistant standards submitted by the expert panel.</p><p> </p><p>In the light of this evidence, the Government believes that schools are best placed to decide how they use and deploy teaching assistants, and to set standards for the teaching assistants they employ. star this property answer text <p>The model articles of association for academy trusts set out the expectations of how academy trusts should be governed, including those arising from company and charity law. The model articles do not include any specific requirement on the trust board to consider advice given by the principal but we would expect them to do so. We would expect there to be an effective working relationship between trustees and the principal, who will often serve as a trustee.</p><p> </p> more like this

In addition, they are required to submit an Annual Certification of Expenditure, signed by their auditors, and a final report detailing what has been achieved through use of the grant. If they fail to comply with any of the conditions of grant, or are deemed to be in breach of it, they may be required to return all or part of the grant to the Department.</p><p> </p>

star this property answer text <p>The UK already complies with the vast majority of the articles to the convention including the criminalisation of forced marriage which was one of the pre-requisites of ratification as required by Article 37. Primary legislation will be needed to comply with the remaining extra-territorial jurisdiction provisions in Article 44 of the Convention before it can be ratified. The UK Government is liaising with the devolved administrations about ratification, including any further legislative steps that may be necessary.</p> more like this
