Newspaper advertising contributes to our routine communications activity that has been running alongside the rollout of Universal Credit since 2013.</p><p> </p><p>The Universal Credit Uncovered media partnership with the Metro is currently underway and running for a further six weeks so we are unable to provide accurate spend to date figures for the partnership. However, we can commit to publish final full spend on the partnership at the end of July once all activity has concluded.</p><p> </p><p>The information used for the partnership was sourced by DWP officials. In the vast majority of cases the legal representatives are acting for both the body and all members of its staff called as witnesses, and the respective costs cannot therefore be separated. In a very small number of cases separate representation is provided for one or more members of staff.</p><p> </p><p>The costs of representation for contracted prisons and their staff are met by the provider. Before the National Probation Service was created in April 2014 each Probation Trust met its own representation costs, and since then each Community Rehabilitation Company has done likewise. The department undertakes a wide range of enforcement action. This action includes application of sanctions against individuals and employers, prosecution of foreign national criminals, the disruption of serious and organised crime as well as our work to encourage and enforce the return of those who have no legal right to stay in the UK. The department does publish information on returns. That is why last summer we published the cross-government Rough Sleeping Strategy which sets out an ambitious £100 million package to help people who sleep rough now, but also puts in place the structures that will end rough sleeping once and for all. The Government has now committed over £1.2 billion to tackle homelessness and rough sleeping over the spending review period.</p><p>In March we allocated an additional £1 million of bespoke funding to support ex- members of the armed forces who are or are at risk of becoming homeless. The funding has been allocated between the Combined Authorities and the Greater London Authority, and will be used to develop new services and support them in engaging with existing service provision.</p><p>Accommodation data for Armed force veterans is limited as the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government does not collect statistics on whether or not people sleeping rough have served in the armed forces.</p><p>However, the Combined Homelessness and Information Network stats suggest that 3 per cent of the rough sleeping population in London have served in the armed Forces.</p><p>We do not collect data on how many people, owed a statutory homeless duty, are veterans. However, in April 2018 my Department introduced a data capturing tool, the Homelessness Case Level Information Collection referred to as H-CLIC which captures the support needs of a household, including if someone has a support need as a result of being in the armed forces. The latest H-CLIC data for October to December 2018 shows that of the 61,410 households in England who were owed a homelessness duty in England, 0.72 per cent had support needs because they had previously served in the armed forces. The Department is currently appealing this judgment, and as such will await the outcome of that process before taking any further action.</p><p> </p><p>Universal Credit takes earnings into account in a way that is fair and transparent. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 25/06/2019 answer text <p>In the 2015 funding settlement, the Government agreed with the BBC that responsibility for the concession will transfer to the BBC in June 2020.</p><p>The government and the BBC agreed this is a fair deal for the BBC - in return we closed the iPlayer loophole and committed to increase the licence fee in line with inflation. And to help with financial planning, we agreed to provide phased transitional funding over 2 years to gradually introduce the cost to the BBC.</p><p>This reform was subject to public discussion and debated extensively during the passage of the Digital Economy Act 2017 through Parliament.</p><p>On 10 June 2019, the BBC <a href="https://www.bbc.com/aboutthebbc/reports/consultation/age-related-tv-licence-policy" target="_blank">announced</a> that the current scheme will end. From 1 June 2020, a free TV licence will only be available to a household with someone aged over 75 who receives Pension Credit.</p><p>The table below provides estimates of the costs for 2017/18 of providing free TV licences to people aged 75 and over in the geographical areas requested, in nominal prices. Counting the number of people would thus misrepresent the volume of service delivered. It shows that 33.6% of girls in years 7-8 and 27.7% of girls in years 9-11 do 30 minutes or more of physical activity per day. Activity is measured in daily levels, to align with the Chief Medical Officers’ guidance for children and young people.</p><p>Levels of activity for girls aged over 16 are captured by the Active Lives (adult) survey, which has a slightly different methodology and so cannot be directly compared. Both surveys are available on Sport England’s website.</p><p> </p><p>Government is committed to addressing the gender gap in physical activity levels for boys and girls, including the drop-off in engagement from primary to secondary school. In exchange for the Sovereign Grant, The Queen surrenders the revenue from The Crown Estate to the government, which in 2018-19 was £343.5 million, and over the last ten years has resulted in an over £2.8 billion contribution to supporting our vital public services. The Sovereign Grant for 2019-20 is £82.4 million.</p><p> </p><p>Under Section 8 of the Sovereign Grant Act, HM Treasury can vary by order the percentage for the Sovereign Grant where the Royal Trustees consider that the current percentage is not appropriate. Following the 2016 Report of the Royal Trustees on the Sovereign Grant Review, in 2017 the percentage was increased from 15% to 25% in order to enable substantial works to reservice Buckingham Palace, to ensure that the Palace can continue to be able to support the Sovereign in the performance of Her official duties. This report set out in detail that Buckingham Palace’s infrastructure urgently needed a major overhaul to avoid the very real danger of catastrophic failure leading to fire or flood. Neither our ratification of the UN Convention or the Equality Act 2010 would change as a result of the UK leaving the European Union without a deal. The sole ground for divorce is that the marriage has broken down irretrievably. Currently, the law requires a person seeking a divorce to satisfy the court of one of five ‘facts’. One fact requires that the parties of the marriage have lived apart for a continuous period of at least two years immediately preceding the presentation of the petition for divorce, and that the respondent consents to a decree being granted.</p><p> </p><p>In 2018 there were 118,355 divorce petitions, of which 32,297 (27%) cited the two-year separation fact. In 2016, applicants to UKVI did not make an appointment to provide biometrics to UK Visas and Immigration. UKVI sent a letter to customers which asked them to attend a branch of Post Office Limited at a convenient time, within 7 working days.</p><p>From November 2018, the UK Visa and Citizenship Application Service (UKVCAS) was launched. This new service requires applicants to make an appointment. Appointments are available for free in 6 major cities, and there are an additional 56 local user-pay service centres located in libraries, and 1 premium lounge.</p><p>In March 2019, the Service and Support Centres (SSCs) began capturing biometrics, again requiring an appointment to be made.
