</p><p> </p><p>Total properties at risk of flooding increased between 2015 and 2016
because of better property information from the Ordnance Survey.</p><p> </p><p>The
Environment Agency’s programme of investment in Flood and Coastal Erosion Risk Management
will reduce the risk of flooding to 300,000 homes in the six year period to March
2021. However, it does not eliminate the risk of flooding in these areas entirely.</p><p>
