	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 12/10/2017 answer text <p>Local clinical commissioning groups (CCGs) are responsible for commissioning the majority of wheelchair services for their local populations and equipment will be prescribed according to the patient’s clinical need following an assessment by an appropriately qualified practitioner or prescriber.</p><p> </p><p>To improve wheelchair commissioning, and promote personalisation in wheelchair services, NHS England has published a Model Service Specification for Wheelchair and Posture Services. The specification provides CCGs with a Framework for them to use with their service users, providers and suppliers to ensure that they commission services that meet the needs of wheelchair users.</p><p> </p><p>NHS England is developing a personal health budget offer for wheelchair users. This will allow meet individuals’ health and wellbeing needs more effectively. The review’s conclusions, and the clinical and public health rationale for offering free vaccinations on the National Health Service for cholera, hepatitis A, polio and typhoid when recommended for the purposes of travel, will be released in summer 2019. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 05/03/2019 answer text <p>The Government is committed to improving the safety of cosmetic procedures through better training for practitioners, and clear information so that people can make informed decisions about their care.</p><p> </p><p>Teeth whitening is the practice of dentistry and teeth whitening products containing or releasing between 0.1% and 6% hydrogen peroxide can only be sold to dental practitioners.</p><p> </p><p>By law, dentistry must only be carried out by dental professionals who are registered with the General Dental Council. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 31/01/2019 answer text <p>The National Health Service website makes clear that conservative treatments such as pelvic floor exercises and lifestyle changes should be tried before surgery or other procedures to treat patients suffering from stress urinary incontinence or pelvic organ prolapse.</p><p> </p><p>Additionally, the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence is in the process of producing guidance entitled ‘Urinary incontinence (update) and pelvic organ prolapse in women: management.’ The draft guideline published on 9 October 2018 states that multidisciplinary teams (MDTs) should ‘review the proposed treatment for all women offered invasive procedures for primary stress UI, OAB or primary prolapse’. There are a basic set of expectations for nursing and medical care post-surgery which apply to children. For example, they must be anaesthetised by anaesthetists competent in its administration; be looked after by teams dedicated to their care, who have received the necessary training; and be cared for in an appropriate environment. The National Suicide Prevention Strategy highlights children and young people as a group requiring tailored approaches to mental health to reduce their risk of suicide. We published the first Cross-Government Suicide Prevention Workplan in January this year which sets out an ambitious programme for suicide prevention across national and local government. This workplan highlights steps we are taking across Government to reduce suicides in children and young people. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 26/06/2018 answer text <p>The Department is responsible for the confirmation of byelaws for regulating cosmetic piercing businesses in England under Section 236 of the Local Government Act 1972.</p><p> </p><p>Local authorities in England are responsible for the regulation of piercing providers, under the Local Government Act 2003, and may implement byelaws. They have powers to regulate the hygiene and cleanliness of the practice of acupuncture and of businesses providing tattooing, semi-permanent skin-colouring, cosmetic piercing and electrolysis under the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1982.
