unstar this property answer text <p>The Law Officers' Departments use their resource flexibly and a number of staff from across the organisations have been involved in work that supports the UK’s exit from the EU.</p><p> </p><p>The Government Legal Department has a team that specifically provides legal services to the Department for Exiting the European Union (DExEU). Currently, there are 41.5 full-time-equivalent staff in this team and GLD would expect to charge DExEU £3.731m for the services of this team in the 2017/18 financial year.</p><p> </p><p>The remaining Law Officers' Departments (Attorney General’s Office, Crown Prosecution Service, Serious Fraud Office and Her Majesty’s Crown Prosecution Service Inspectorate) do not keep a separate record of expenditure for work relating to the UK’s exit from the EU. It would not be proportionate to quantify the number of staff involved and calculate costings, – particularly as the numbers of staff involved and the time requirements from each vary over time.</p> more like this

unstar this property answer text <p>Given the role of the Attorney General’s Department, it does not lead on specific projects related to the UK leaving the EU and therefore has not incurred any additional expenditure. None of the Law Officers’ Departments has received direct funding therefore for work relating to the UK leaving the EU. Members of staff across the Law Officers’ Departments provide advice and analysis on different issues as required, and different Government departments bid for funding from HMT to pay for their resource needs, including the services of the Government Legal Department (GLD).</p> more like this

It sets the date of the Census and the topics on which census questions are to be asked.</p><p>Once made, the Order will be followed by Census Regulations for England and for Wales. The Regulations for England will be laid before Parliament. The Regulations for Wales are the responsibility of Welsh Ministers and will be laid before the National Assembly for Wales. The Regulations to be made by the Welsh Ministers will contain the final wording of the questions on Welsh language skills and ethnic group to be asked in the Wales census.</p><p>As part of the Census Data Collection and Transformation Programme, the ONS is exploring how to produce census-type statistics more frequently than the decennial census, using other sources of data. The ONS will make a recommendation to the Government in 2023 on the future of the census.</p><p> </p> more like this
