	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 29/11/2018 answer text <p>The collection of data on civilian casualties during the campaign by the Global Coalition against Daesh is a matter for the Coalition itself. All missions comply fully with International Humanitarian Law, are meticulously planned and every care is taken to minimise the effect of our military action on civilians and civilian objects. It is therefore deeply regrettable that a UK air strike on 26 March 2018, targeting Daesh fighters in eastern Syria, resulted in an unintentional civilian fatality. This was reported to the House by my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Defence on 2 May 2018 (HCWS665). The Ministry of Defence takes any incidence of civilian casualty extremely seriously: we assess the evidence in detail and report back on our findings. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 06/06/2018 answer text <p>Nigeria is a key partner for the UK and we are fully committed to helping the Nigerian Government in its fight against terrorism. However, the UK's position on human rights is clear: they are universal and must apply equally to all. Any member of the Nigerian security forces found to have been involved in human rights violations must be held accountable.</p><p> </p><p>The National Action Plan on Women, Peace and Security sets out how the UK Government will integrate a gender perspective into its work to build security and stability overseas and protect the human rights of women and girls. The UK military training and assistance to the Armed Forces of Nigeria has consistently emphasised the importance of adherence to internationally recognised Rules of Engagement, as well as the importance of International Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law. They are investigated to a level commensurate with their complexity and impact by Military Police, MOD Police or local constabulary.</p><p>A breakdown of unauthorised entries to military bases recorded within the MOD for 2014 is set out in the attached table. None of these incidents resulted in any significant ramifications for Defence security.</p><p>In drafting the answer to this question, it has become apparent that the answers to Questions 24141 and 33821 were incorrect, understating the number of unauthorised entries to military bases in 2014 by one, the correct number is 25, and in the list of the locations of such security incidents, RAF Leeming was omitted.
