star this property answer text <p>The law relating to contempt of court applies generally to all courts and this includes the family court. The legislation establishing the family court provides that the family court may make any order (including orders punishing for contempt of court) that could be made by the High Court or the county court if the proceedings were in those respective courts; and the powers of judges in the family court to punish for contempt are proportionate to their level of seniority.</p> more like this

Training to help unemployed people find work is available to benefit claimants of all ages.</p><p> </p><p>In addition, we have introduced a number of initiatives to support older people including the introduction of Jobcentre Plus Older Claimant Champions and the launch of the work experience and sector based work academy pilots that will support 3,000 claimants. star this property answer text <p>The UK National Screening Committee (UK NSC) which advises Ministers and the National Health Service in all four countries about all aspects of screening is currently looking at the evidence for a variety of tests (including doppler scans) and treatments to see if they would be able to help to reduce stillbirths. The UK NSC will evaluate the benefits and risks of each test and treatment against its internationally recognised criteria before making a recommendation on their introduction.</p><p> </p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>Certain provisions in the Equality Act 2010 – for example permitted exceptions from the age discrimination requirements for retail concessions to students and pensioners – are likely to be of particular benefit to single people.</p><p>Single status is not a protected characteristic in the Equality Act 2010. In the provision of goods and services we believe there is a balance to be struck between the interests of single people and the commercial considerations of business. Central Government funding of £570,951 was provided as part of the Nursing Technology Fund Grant in 2015/16 to three adult hospices in England.</p><p>In addition to NHS funding for locally commissioned services, children’s hospices received £11 million in 2015/16 through the Children’s Hospice and Hospice-at-Home Grant, which is administered by NHS England.</p><p><strong></strong></p> more like this

It was written for government communicators on how to make effective use of accessible communications formats. It was not about specific means of communication, e.g. email, letters etc. This document is due to be reviewed and updated.</p><p>Stakeholders groups were involved when the document was originally produced, and will be invited to be part of the review process.</p> more like this
