answer text <p>The UK is providing a range of support to displaced people in Yemen in response to the displacement of 3.3 million people since the conflict began in 2015. Last financial year (2018/19), for example, we <del class="ministerial">provided</del> <ins class="ministerial">contributed to the provision of </ins>food assistance to over 490,000 internally displaced people (IDPs) and since June 2017 we have helped over 40,000 IDPs receive psychosocial support and provided over 35,000 with life-saving health care.</p><p> </p><p>The UK has also supported the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) and United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) to provide primary healthcare and mental health services, legal assistance, child protection and support to survivors of gender-based violence. We are supporting IOM and UNHCR with £9 million this financial year (2019/20) to allow them to continue providing these vital services.</p> more like this

We care about the wellbeing of our staff and have committed to taking a zero tolerance approach to bullying and harassment.</p><p>We fully investigate all claims of bullying and harassment and take action in line with Departmental policies as appropriate. answer text <p><del class="ministerial">We are closely monitoring the economic situation in Sri Lanka, including foreign exchange data reported by Central Bank of Sri Lanka and Sri Lankan authorities. Prior to the Covid-19 pandemic, tourism was a key export sector for Sri Lanka, making up almost 30% of total export revenues. However, Sri Lanka's tourism receipts declined by almost 80% in 2020 and fell by a further 60% in 2021. The UK is a key contributor to Sri Lanka's tourism sector. It has been among the top three source markets in the past three years, placed as the second major country of origin for tourists in Sri Lanka in 2019 and 2020, and third in 2021. Remittances from overseas workers have also been an important contributor to Sri Lanka's economy in the past three years, worth around 8% and 9% of Sri Lanka's total GDP in 2019 and 2020, respectively. Despite initially remaining constant in 2020, remittances fell by over 20% in 2021, down to their lowest levels since 2011.</del></p><p><del class="ministerial">The UK recognises the difficult economic situation and welcomes the start in-depth discussions with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) on reforms needed to bring the economy back to a sustainable path. answer text <p>We have checked the records that the department has kept since the introduction of the Cabinet Office guidance on settlement agreements on 1 February 2015 and confirm that we have one record, of using an NDA with a departmental staff member in July 2015.</p><p>The use of this NDA was unintentional i.e. the standard NDA paragraph was accidently left in the template by mistake. We are not aware of the Home Office using NDA for departmental staff other than this since the new guidance was introduced. However, the records examined were cross-matched from several different data sets, assembled for different purposes. As there were some gaps in the data sets, while we are confident this was the only instance, we cannot guarantee that we were able to identify every case.</p> more like this

answer text <p>Cabinet Office are taking the issue of Bullying and Harassment seriously, and have developed a Bullying, Harassment and Discrimination Action plan to reduce the incidence of these behaviours within the Cabinet Office.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>Cabinet Office does not hold central records covering all cases of Bullying and Harassment. In general, in line with Cabinet Office policy complaints are handled locally by line managers within the business unit, either through an informal or formal process.</p><p> </p><p>Cabinet Office uses the annual People Survey to collect data about Bullying and Harassment levels in the department.</p><p> </p><p>People Survey results are available here:</p><p>https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/civil-service-people-surveys</p><p> </p> more like this

Not all grievances will be upheld following investigation.</p><p><br>The Home Office makes it clear to employees that bullying, harassment and discrimination are unacceptable behaviours that will not be tolerated. A range of support is available to any employee who has been affected by BHD.</p>

answer text <p>The number of bullying and harassment cases recorded against managers is not recorded centrally and could be provided only at disproportionate cost.</p><p> </p><p>The Ministry of Defence (MOD) takes bullying and harassment very seriously and will not tolerate inappropriate behaviour of any nature. The Department is continually assessing and identifying ways to improve the culture of the workplace, reduce tolerance of inappropriate behaviour further, including bullying and harassment, and making it easier for staff to report possible misconduct as well as providing more support to staff who have experienced it, and providing more effective and quicker routes to resolution.</p><p> </p><p>The MOD has introduced a ‘SpeakSafe Helpline’ offering MOD employees a safe space to discuss issues relating to bullying, harassment and discrimination in the workplace with experienced practitioners, outside of their immediate workplace, who will offer advice and support. The SpeakSafe service is impartial and confidential, allowing callers to remain anonymous, if they wish.</p><p> </p><p> </p>
