	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 14/01/2019 answer text <p>I warmly welcome the Chemistry Council’s strategy “Sustainable Innovation for a Better World” published in November.</p><p> </p><p>Sector Deals are a key part of our Industrial Strategy and we have agreed nine Deals to date.</p><p> </p><p>The Industrial Strategy White Paper set out six expectations for industry-led Sector Deal proposals. We anticipate entering into negotiations with some further sectors that can best meet those expectations.</p><p> </p><p>I welcome the chemistry sector’s interest in a Deal. My rt. hon. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 18/12/2017 answer text <p>Over 12 GW of installed onshore wind capacity was operational in the UK at the end of the second quarter of 2017. This investment was supported by schemes such as the Renewables Obligation (RO), which are funded by bill payers.</p><p> </p><p>Further onshore wind farms are expected to deploy up to March 2019 with support from the RO, utilising grace periods provided by the Energy Act 2016 and the Renewables Obligation Closure Order (Northern Ireland) 2016 and the Renewables Obligation Closure (No.2) Order (Northern Ireland) 2016. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 27/12/2017 answer text <p>The Department estimates that 12.6GW of onshore wind installed capacity will be deployed by the end of 2018/19 under the Renewables Obligation.[1]</p><p>Fifteen onshore wind projects have entered into a Contract for Difference (CFD) with the Low Carbon Contracts Company (LCCC), a Government-owned company that administers the CFD regime. The latest information published by the LCCC indicated that for thirteen of these projects, totalling approximately 564MW of capacity, the generator currently expects the station to start generating before the end of March 2019. The published start dates are estimates and subject to change. The Department hosted a meeting on 5 June between US lawyers and UK steel and aluminium industry representatives to share information on the product exclusion process. We remain in regular dialogue with UK industry and will support them through this process where possible.
