The Department for Health and Social Care is continuing to raise awareness of the dangers of drinking alcohol while pregnant by working with PHE, NHS England, local commissioners, royal colleges and regulatory bodies.</p> more like this

unstar this property answer text <p>The Department publishes information on its services on GOV.UK. Documents we publish can be requested in an alternative format, in line with the Equalities Act 2010, and this includes British Sign Language.</p><p>When hosting staff events we provide a British Sign Language signer where one has been requested in advance.</p><p>We have existing frameworks in place to provide communication support services which includes BSL Interpreters. In circumstances where this service is not suitable for the individuals requirements we have arrangements in place to provide alternative support though the Crown Commercial Service framework agreements.</p><p>We ask our customers if they require any reasonable adjustments and aim to meet their bespoke needs.</p> more like this

unstar this property answer text <p>The Ministry of Defence (MOD) is taking a number of positive actions to make it easier for smaller companies to do business with defence, for example launching sub-contract advertising on our online portal and engaging more regularly with smaller businesses to help understand the challenges they face. We are also introducing new measures to ensure prime contractors' pay promptly and working to improve the pipeline information that we publish.</p><p>The MOD Small and Medium-Sized Enterprise Action Plan 2019-2022 was published in March 2019 and this sets out the actions we are taking in more detail. unstar this property answer text <p>The Government recently consulted on draft amendments to regulations that would enable the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) to charge companies for the cost of developing technology appraisal and highly specialised technology evaluation recommendations relating to their products and to allow NICE to recruit appeal panel members representing the National Health Service from the devolved administrations.</p><p> </p><p>The consultation included a draft Impact Assessment and sought views on allowing NICE to charge small companies less and permit small companies to pay in instalments. The charging model in the consultation document proposed a 25% discount for small companies. The Government is currently analysing the responses and will publish its response in due course.</p> more like this

Where a contract for services by a general practitioner practice is ended, NHS England will look at the provision of services in that area and decide whether to enter into a contract with another provider or to allocate patients to other practices in the area.</p><p> </p><p>NHS England Cheshire and Mersey are unable to release any information while the procurement process is underway.</p> more like this
