The RAB charge is estimated to be 50% of the total loan amount. BIS is collecting data on learners as it emerges. These ‘funded for’ numbers are only available at pre-16 and post-16 level. Where the funded number has been based on an estimate but the actual number of pupils on roll as per the October census is higher the school will receive additional funding later that year. Where the actual number is lower than the estimate the funding is re-paid to the Department in the following academic year.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>Some UTC and studio schools also report pupils in year 9, 14 and X (pupils not assigned to a particular year group).
