The Government is clear that no one in this country should have to endure racism and we are committed to building a fairer Britain and taking the action needed to address disparities wherever they exist. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 14/06/2021 answer text <p>In the Written Ministerial Statement of 15 December 2020, <a href="https://questions-statements.parliament.uk/written-statements/detail/2020-12-15/hcws652" target="_blank">HCWS652</a>, the Government outlined how unconscious bias training fails to deliver value for taxpayers' money and is ineffective. We indicated that it will be phased out in the Civil Service, and encourage the wider public sector to do the same.</p><p>Similar principles can be applied to &quot;critical race theory&quot; training, which is a controversial political ideology. Between 2016 and 2017, the UK has contributed €30 billion to the annual EU budget, and received €13 billion in receipts to both the public and private sector.</p><p>Additionally, HM Treasury produce an annual European Finances Statement which details the UK’s contribution to the EU over the past year. As the Prime Minister said in her statement to Parliament, we do not want to see Article 50 extended. By far the best way forward is for Parliament to agree to leave with a deal when we bring the Meaningful Vote back.
