	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 16/06/2014 answer text <p> </p><p>The UK Rivet Joint could not be certified under Military Aviation Authority Regulatory Publications (MRP) due to difficulties in obtaining documentary evidence of the aircraft's original design basis. The MRP allows an alternative course of action to be agreed where a regulated entity cannot fully comply. Accordingly, an alternative approach was agreed for Rivet Joint to achieve the same level of design safety assurance.
