answer text <p>The Government set up the Joint Fraud Taskforce through which police, banks and trading standards work together to help protect vulnerable people from the fraudulent approaches made by doorstep criminals. The Banking Protocol, which helps bank staff recognise signs of fraud, such as unusually high cash withdrawals, has stopped over £9 million pounds from getting into criminal hands and led to over 100 arrests.</p> more like this
