answer text <p>Poverty reduction is at the core of the mission of the new Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office. answer text <p>This Government is delivering on the people’s priorities by giving policing the biggest funding increase in a decade.</p><p>In total we’re increasing the funding available to the policing system by over £1bn this year.</p><p>In order to help recruit we are giving PCCs an additional £700 million this year to help deliver the recruitment of 6,000 additional officers by the end of March 2021; we have already recruited 3000 new officers.</p><p>We are giving the police the resources they need to fight crime and keep the public safe.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The Government has already announced £40m of funding for domestic abuse services between 2016 and 2020, as well as a £2m grant to Women’s Aid and Safelives to support early intervention.</p><p>We will shortly publish a refreshed cross-Government Violence Against Women and Girls strategy setting out how we will do more still to secure long-term funding for domestic violence services and support for all victims.</p> more like this
