answer text <p>Waiting times are not currently collected on a national level for the fitting and removal of contraceptive intrauterine devices, as individual local authorities manage their service waiting lists. The Office for Health Improvement and Disparities is undertaking a programme to improve reproductive health surveillance data, including the development of a new indicator that will aim to capture information on Long-acting Reversible Contraception method waiting lists at a national level.</p> more like this

answer text <p>We are working at pace to develop safe ways for pubs, restaurants, bars and cafes to reopen at the earliest opportunity it is safe to do so, through our pubs and restaurants taskforce. As set out in the roadmap, it is our ambition to reopen pubs, cafes, bars and restaurants from 4 July at the earliest, subject to the scientific advice at the time. However, pubs, restaurants and cafes can continue to offer takeaway-enabled services as they have been during lockdown.</p><p> </p><p>Our guidance forms part of employers’ normal health and safety practice. Health and safety legislation is enforced by the Health and Safety Executive, the Health and Safety Executive for Northern Ireland and by local authorities. Social distancing is a key part of our scientific advice. This will be considered by employers as part of their risk assessment.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>If the enforcing authority finds that an employer is not taking action to properly manage workplace risk, a range of actions are is open to them, including specific advice or issuing enforcement notices.</p>

answer text <p>On 20 Jan 2016, the British Heart Foundation (BHF) National Centre for Physical Activity and Health published <a href="http://www.bhfactive.org.uk/beststart" target="_blank">The best start in life – a manifesto for physical activity in the early years</a>, which included a recommendation for greater emphasis on the importance of physical activity across the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and more awareness of the <a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/uk-physical-activity-guidelines" target="_blank">Chief Medical Officer’s physical activity guidelines for the early years (2011)</a>.</p><p> </p><p>This report was discussed between officials at Department for Education and Department of Health. Following a meeting between the BHF and my Rt. Hon. Friend, the former Secretary of State for Education, a meeting took place between officials and the BHF.</p><p> </p><p>In April 2016, the Department agreed to include a link to the Chief Medical Officer’s guidance on physical activity in the revised EYFS, which we plan to publish around spring/summer 2017.</p><p> </p><p>Since this recommendation was addressed, before the recent machinery of government changes and the appointment of my Rt. Hon. Friend, the current Secretary of State for Education on 14 July, her and her ministerial colleagues have not had any meetings about this matter.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p>
