<p>The Ministry of Defence maintains a contract with ESS which sets out output requirements. These outputs are subject to regular assurance and audit. It is the responsibility of ESS to determine the level of staffing required to meet the stipulated outputs and to ensure that quality and delivery thresholds are hit.</p>
