It is the responsibility of train operators to determine their own retailing strategy. In November, we allocated an extra 700 days to the Crown Court for this financial year in response to an increase in the number of cases coming to court.</p><p>Sitting days are monitored and assigned based on the number of cases we expect the courts to receive annually. We hope to have implemented, or to be in the course of implementing a good number of them by the end of 2019. Others will take longer, while many will require an ongoing effort to embed into the working practice of the FCO and other Departments.
