answer text <p>Gender equality is a core part of the FCDO's work as a force for good in the world. The UK is committed to promoting every girl's right to 12 years of quality education, by working to accelerate progress towards getting marginalised girls into schools, staying there, and staying safe. Between 2015 and 2020, we supported 8.1 million girls gain access to a decent education. The Strategic Vision for Gender Equality reflects and responds to the UK Government's ambitions, and works alongside our National Action Plan (NAP) on Women, Peace and Security. answer text <p>The Government is committed to supporting people to take part in sport and physical activity regardless of their background or ability. Over the 2017-2021 period, Sport England is investing over £1 billion to support people to get physically active in whatever way best suits them.
