The Prevent Duty Guidance (2023) provides recommendations to police on what to consider when conducting due diligence and ensuring they have an understanding of associated risks.</p><p> </p><p>The Government does not tolerate those who spread divisive and harmful narratives and efforts to counter extremism span a broad range of Government and law enforcement activity and we must persist in our efforts to challenge extremist narratives, disrupt the activity of radicalising groups, and directly tackle the causes of radicalisation.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The Government collects statistics on smoking and vaping for 11 to 15 year olds through the Smoking, Drinking and Drug Use Among Young People survey. Due to the pandemic, the latest available data is from 2018, which shows regular use of vapes for 11 to 15 year olds at 3% and regular use of smoking cigarettes at 2%. Fieldwork for the latest survey is complete and due to be published later this year. The Office for Health Improvement and Disparities collects data on vaping among 11 to 18 year olds, which will be published in its 2022 Vaping in England report shortly.</p><p> </p><p>Under the current Tobacco Control Plan for England, the former Public Health England commissioned annual independent reports on vaping in England. The final report is due to be published by the Office of Health Improvement and Disparities shortly. The report will include systematic reviews of the respiratory, cardiovascular and cancer risks and reports on the risks from fires, explosions and poisonings.</p>

answer text <p>The United Kingdom National Screening Committee (UK NSC) regularly reviews over 100 conditions, including some rare diseases, to ensure that we continue to offer a world class screening programme. In the Newborn Screening Programme, the UK NSC has recently reviewed Adrenoleukodystrophy and is in the process of reviewing 22q11.2 Deletion Syndrome to assess its suitability for a population-based screening programme. It is important that the addition of any new conditions to the newborn blood spot programme or any population screening programme, is supported by robust peer-reviewed evidence.</p><p>The UK Rare Diseases Framework provides the high-level direction for rare diseases including improving diagnosis rates. The Framework’s priorities will be implemented through nation-specific action plans which will outline the specific commitments from each UK nation.</p> more like this
