As projects mature funding allocations are made from the pipeline budget against these projects. The Type 32 programme has not yet reached the level of maturity for full budget allocation and concept funding has been spent thus far, estimated at approximately £4 million to date. The inspections had no impact on operational capability or availability of the UK Rivet Joint Fleet as all inspections were conducted within normal maintenance events between sorties.
