	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 29/03/2022 answer text <p>The Department is unable to provide information relating to loan amounts for individual companies as this information is commercially sensitive for both investors and investee businesses.</p><p>All investee companies were required to certify that they met the UK nationality criteria as part of the process of signing the Convertible Loan Agreement. Businesses provided details of their country of incorporation, UK Company registration number as well as the citizenship of company officers and an ownership structure chart or supporting documentation showing ultimate beneficial owners of the company. These details were checked as part of the eligibility checks carried out. As this particular business was pre-revenue and pre-operational at the time of application, these checks also satisfied the requirement that over half of employees should be UK-based or half of revenues should be from UK sales.</p><p>Licensing is a matter for the Civil Aviation Authority. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 29/03/2022 answer text <p>Seafarers who ordinarily work within the UK and its territorial waters are entitled to be paid the UK National Minimum Wage.</p><p> </p><p>The government is clear that anyone entitled to be paid the minimum wage should receive it and takes robust enforcement action against employers who do not pay their staff correctly. HMRC enforce the minimum wage on behalf of the government, across all sectors of the economy. They consider every complaint from workers, conduct proactive enforcement activities, and deliver educational activity to support employer compliance. HMRC have a strong record on enforcing the minimum wage. Since 2015 they have returned over £100 million in unpaid wages to 1 million workers.</p><p> </p><p>If anyone thinks they have been underpaid, they should complain to HMRC using the online form on GOV.UK, or call the Acas helpline. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 29/03/2022 answer text <p>The UK has responded to the growing demand for non-financial information in UK corporate reporting, by introducing measures to increase and improve the public disclosures entities make. In 2013, the UK introduced the requirement for certain entities to produce a strategic report, an ambitious change which required directors and boards to take a broad range of issues into account in the running of their company, including on social and environmental matters.</p><p> </p><p>These requirements were expanded in 2016, through the introduction of additional disclosure requirements for all large Public Interest Entities (PIEs), to require a description of the principal risks relating to social and environmental matters. It provides low-carbon baseload power and reduces reliance on fossil fuels and exposure to volatile global prices. In 2020, nuclear power stations generated 16% of the electricity generated in the UK.</p><p> </p><p>In the Net Zero Strategy, published in October 2021, the Government announced a new £120 million Nuclear Enabling Fund to provide targeted support to address barriers to entry for future nuclear. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 29/03/2022 answer text <p>This Government is clear that anyone entitled to be paid the minimum wage should receive it and will take robust enforcement action against employers who do not pay their staff correctly.</p><p> </p><p>The Employment Agencies Act 1973 and its associated regulations are the main pieces of legislation that directly regulate employment agencies and employment businesses, including online recruitment services, which operate within Great Britain. This legislation is enforced by the Employment Agency Standards Inspectorate. It is the responsibility of the agency to check the validity of the adverts before they post them online and that they include the required information.</p><p> </p><p>An individual's entitlement to the minimum wage is not dependent on the rates of pay included in a job advert or job offer that they accepted. Therefore, if an individual is not being paid at least minimum wage when they are entitled to it, they should complain to HMRC using the online form on gov.uk. HMRC consider every complaint they receive and, if they identify underpayment, they will require the employer to repay the arrears to workers and a penalty to government.</p><p> </p><p>HMRC support employers and workers by actively raising awareness of employers’ obligations and workers’ rights relating to the minimum wage.
