	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 03/07/2019 answer text <p>Prime responsibility for the funding of the operation of what is now the First Tier Tribunal (Social Security &amp; Child Support) transferred, along with funding from what is now the Department for Work and Pensions to what is now the Ministry of Justice on the creation of the Tribunals Service on 1 April 2006.</p><p>The contribution that the Department for Work and Pensions currently makes towards the costs of the First Tier Tribunal (Social Security &amp; Child Support) covers the additional costs of that tribunal as a consequence of the introduction of the Personal Independence Payment benefit, which has led to an increase both in the number of appeals to the tribunal and, due to the increased complexity of the tests involved, their length and cost.</p><p>No additional contribution is required towards the administration of Employment Support Allowance appeals as the cost of this tribunal has not been affected by a subsequent policy change.</p> answering member constituency Blackpool North and Cleveleys answering member printed Paul Maynard question first answered 03/07/2019 16:41:41 answering member 3926 label Biography information for Paul Maynard

	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 29/10/2019 answer text <p>Government intervention to provide £600 million funding for the removal on unsafe Aluminium Composite Material (ACM) cladding on high-rise (over 18 metres) buildings is wholly exceptional. It is based on the unparalleled fire risk ACM poses, very real public safety concerns and the abject failure of many building owners to do the right thing by their residents.</p><p> </p><p>We are focusing on buildings over 18 metres as they are subject to tougher buildings restrictions, as set out in Approved Document B, including restrictions on the types of material that can be used on external wall systems.
