Certain charities are required to submit a trustees annual report and annual accounts which are published by the Charity Commission. These may include information on government funding received by a charity. This information is publicly available in their entry on the register.</p><p> </p><p>DCMS has robust processes in place for the use of public money to ensure value for money to the taxpayer. However, charities must be independent bodies and must not exist for the purpose of implementing the policies of a governmental authority or carrying out the directions of a governmental body. Further information on the independence of charities from the state can be found in the Charity Commission’s guidance: RR7 - The independence of Charities from the State on the GOV.UK website.</p><p>The Charity Commission is an independent registrar and regulator of charities in England and Wales, the Charity Commission performs a vital service on behalf of the public. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 06/12/2022 answer text <p>We are clear that no one should be refused access to businesses or services, including taxis, because they have an assistance dog.</p><p>Under the Equality Act 2010 (the Act), businesses that provide goods and services to the public must not unlawfully discriminate against people who meet the Act’s definition of disability. The Act places a duty on service providers to make reasonable adjustments to improve access to premises, buildings and services.</p><p>This duty could include allowing access to guide dogs or assistance dogs so that disabled customers have the same access to goods and services and are not placed at a substantial disadvantage compared to non-disabled customers.</p><p>The Equality and Human Rights Commission has published guidance for all businesses, including service providers, on their duty towards disabled people who own assistance/guide dogs. The guidance explains that assistance dogs should be treated as auxiliary aids and not as pets. The guidance is available at: <a href="https://www.equalityhumanrights.com/sites/default/files/assistance-dogs-a-guide-for-all-businesses.pdf" target="_blank">https://www.equalityhumanrights.com/sites/default/files/assistance-dogs-a-guide-for-all-businesses.pdf</a> and makes clear that businesses and service providers should allow assistance dogs access to buildings where dogs would normally not be permitted whenever this is reasonable.</p><p>Taxi and private hire drivers also have a duty under the Act to carry guide dogs and assistance dogs at no extra cost to the passenger. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 01/12/2022 answer text <p>We are determined to support more women and girls to get active and football is the most popular team sport in terms of participation for women and girls.</p><p>The Lionesses’ fantastic performance at the 2022 Women’s Euros has inspired the nation and it is essential that we take the opportunity to build on the success and legacy of the tournament. This includes Sport England’s investment in 2020 of £1 million into legacy groups to help develop and create recreational women’s football opportunities in each of the nine host cities up and down England. It also includes the Sport England Adult Recreational Football Project, which is led by seven recreational football officers across the country who will develop this area of the game over the next two years.</p><p>We will continue to invest in grassroots sport through Sport England funding. In April 2022, Sport England awarded a total of £199,562 in 169 organisations to start new grassroots women’s and girls’ teams in high Index of Multiple Deprivation (IMD) areas. Sport England has also committed over £26 million until 2027 to support the FA’s aim to harness the power of grassroots football to unite communities and improve the health of the nation.</p><p>We are also focused on supporting the future development of women’s and girl’s football, and inspiring the next generation. The recently announced Women’s Football Review will look at how to deliver bold and sustainable growth of the women’s game at elite and grassroots level.
