We recognise the sacrifices made and the horrors to which our personnel were subjected.</p><p>The Ministry of Defence (MOD) is committed to ensuring that ex prisoners of war from the Far East Campaign remain in the public consciousness as much as those who served in other campaigns. Additional welfare support is also provided by the third sector in the form of Service charities and benevolent organisations. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 11/06/2019 answer text <p>Defence Business Services, within the Ministry of Defence (MOD), is responsible for administering requests and orders from the Child Maintenance Service.</p><p> </p><p>In financial year 2018-19 818 deduction of earning requests were received from the Child Maintenance Service for Service personnel; of these, 129 were rejected.
