These assessments are used to evaluate what kind of support services an individual requires during their outreach support.</p><p>There is no assessment of eligibility as both accommodation and outreach are available to any individual referred into the NRM. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 10/06/2019 answer text <p>In October 2017, the Government announced an ambitious package of reforms to the National Referral Mechanism (NRM), which were developed following the 2014 Oppenheim Review, an 18-month pilot testing alternative decision-making processes, and extensive stakeholder consultation.</p><p>Adults identified in the NRM can receive specialist and tailored support through the Victim Care Contract, where they can receive accommodation, financial support, assistance in accessing mental and physical health care including counselling, and access to legal support.</p><p>Through robust contract management we ensure the safeguarding of victims of modern slavery. The prime contractor for the Victim Care Contract, The Salvation Army, is responsible for ensuring that all subcontracted provision meets the needs of victims. The Salvation Army conducts regular safeguarding reviews and it has a duty to escalate to the Home Office any safeguarding concerns that it finds. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 07/06/2019 answer text <p>We have checked the records that the department has kept since the introduction of the Cabinet Office guidance on settlement agreements on 1 February 2015 and confirm that we have one record, of using an NDA with a departmental staff member in July 2015.</p><p>The use of this NDA was unintentional i.e. the standard NDA paragraph was accidently left in the template by mistake. We are not aware of the Home Office using NDA for departmental staff other than this since the new guidance was introduced. However, the records examined were cross-matched from several different data sets, assembled for different purposes. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 24/05/2019 answer text <p>In February 2013, the Permanent Secretary commissioned an investigation into information the Home Office received in relation to child abuse allegations, between 1979 and 1999. That investigation was unable to locate 114 potentially relevant Home Office files.</p><p>On 7 July 2014 the Home Secretary appointed Peter Wanless and Richard Whittam QC to carry out an independent review of the 2013 investigation.</p><p>On 29 July 2014, the Home Office Permanent Secretary directed that a physical search targeted on specific areas of the Department be undertaken to see if any of the 114 missing files could be located. This did not uncover any of the 114 missing files, though one was found prior to this exercise. As part of their Review, Wanless and Whittam interrogated what was known about each of the 114 files. These absences include those relating to stress, as well as other mental health issues such as anxiety and depression. These conditions can be triggered by various factors.</p><p>We are committed to breaking down barriers and reducing stigma for employees living with mental health conditions.
