	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 30/09/2019 answer text <p>The National Police Chiefs’ Council lead for Stalking and Harassment, Deputy Chief Constable Paul Mills, and the College of Policing, wrote to Chief Constables in April 2019 recommending that all police forces in England and Wales stop using Police Information Notices (PINs) with immediate effect. An evaluation of any gap created by this policy decision will be conducted in May 2020.</p><p>Following a recommendation from the Independent Office for Police Conduct in September 2019, DCC Mills wrote to all Chief Constables again, inviting them, if they had not done so before, to consider withdrawing PINs within their policing area with immediate effect. He also asked them, once PINs had been withdrawn, to satisfy themselves that PINs or their equivalent were not still being used by officers when responding to stalking and harassment offences.</p><p>As they are non-legislative tools, the Home Office does not collect information centrally on the number of PINs issued. In this advice note the IAEP states the following:</p><p> </p><p><em>“The view of the Expert Panel is that the level of risk from unsafe HPL systems is not as high a risk as unsafe systems using ACM Category 3 panels. Therefore, the Expert Panel remains clear that the immediate removal of unsafe systems using ACM Category 3 panels should be an absolute priority of focus for building owners and the sector, followed by immediate action to remediate unsafe HPL systems. This advice notes provides information to building owners with regards to external wall systems that do not incorporate Aluminium Composite Material (ACM). This advice notes has made it clear since its publication that where a system used on a building has not achieved a BS8414/BR135 classification building owners should seek immediate professional advice and consider remediation measures. The Expert panel has always been unequivocal that the clearest way to ensure safety is to remove unsafe materials. The Expert Panel continues to support this advice. The Government is collecting data on all external wall systems on residential buildings 18 metres and above, covering private and social (both local authority and housing association) stock, hotels and student accommodation. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 06/09/2019 answer text <p>Criminal exploitation in the form of county lines has a devastating impact on those affected and we must work together to identify and safeguard the victims and potential victims of this form of exploitation as early as possible.</p><p>Our Serious Violence Strategy sets out our approach to tackling county lines and its related exploitation and through this we have delivered a range of action to enhance our approach to tackling this issue.</p><p>This includes providing £3.6m for a new National County Lines Co-ordination Centre. Launched in September 2018 the NCLCC has already led three separate weeks of law enforcement ‘intensification’ leading to 1600 arrests and safeguarding of over 2100 individuals. Through the Early Intervention Youth Fund we are also funding 10 projects with a specific county lines focus to support victims and potential victims of this exploitation. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 01/10/2019 answer text <p>It is the duty of any responsible Government to prepare for every eventuality including the scenario that we leave the EU without agreeing a deal.</p><p>With that in mind, we are working closely with operational partners - including the police - on contingency planning so we can ensure the safety and security of our citizens in all scenarios.</p><p> </p><p>The police have tried and tested strategic mobilisation plans for responding to a wide range of emergency scenarios, including widespread disorder. This includes consideration of any requirements for mutual aid or other support.
