We believe that this transparency is motivating employers to take action, but these regulations are new and we will be monitoring them closely.</p><p> </p><p>We continue to urge employers to go beyond the reporting requirements by publishing an action plan, setting out the steps they are taking to improve gender equality, just under half of employers did this in the first year. As the sponsoring department, the Home Office monitors timeliness performance throughout the year. Two key themes of the action plan are encouraging reporting and increasing support to victims.</p><p>The Action Plan includes a number of commitments that are addressing all forms of hate crime, including a review of hate crime legislation by the Law Commission which commenced earlier this year, a public awareness campaign which has run twice, and the current Online Harms White Paper con-sultation.</p><p>There are also a number of specific commitments addressing homophobic, biphobic and transphobic hate crime, which have been informed by the Government’s 2018 LGBT Action Plan. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 29/01/2020 answer text <p>The Government has commissioned and supports the business led, independent Hampton-Alexander Review which has a 33% target for women on boards and in senior leadership positions across the FTSE350 by close 2020.</p><p>The Government also supports the recently launched Leaders As Change Agents board which is working to increase diversity in critical decision-making roles.</p><p>Women hold a higher percentage of senior leadership positions than ever before. I am pleased to report the good news that the FTSE100 have achieved their 33% target ahead of schedule. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 28/05/2021 answer text <p>The Government recognises the importance of gathering crime data to inform policy and operational decisions. All police forces routinely collect and publish data on offences. However, published data relates to recorded offences rather than the characteristics of the victims who have experienced them. This is so that the published data reflects all recorded offences, including those where there is no specific, intended, or identifiable victim, or where there are multiple offences against one victim.</p><p>The Government remains determined to build on our understanding of the nature of child sexual abuse, including the ethnicity and background of victims. To inform our understanding of the number of victims and their ages, we use data gathered through the Crime Survey for England and Wales (ONS). We also draw on the research and insight produced by the Centre of Expertise on Child Sexual Abuse, which we established in 2017, and why we draw on the insight of other experts including the Independent Inquiry on Child Sexual Abuse, which has produced research on ethnic minority victims of CSEA.</p><p>We also work closely with local areas to improve their response to exploitation, enabling them to spot trends in abuse and protect local communities.
