<p>Current standards require all new gas boilers installed in English homes to be A rated. Research on real-world boiler performance has been carried out to inform the representation of gas boilers in the government’s Standard Assessment Procedure (SAP). Further information can be found on the Building Research Establishment (BRE) website. BRE deliver the SAP contract on behalf of the government.</p>
