unstar this property answer text <p>The Government has been clear from the start of the pandemic that cancer services must continue; cancer treatments and other essential care should only be postponed if a clinician and patient agree it is in the patient’s best interests. As part of the phased response to COVID-19, local healthcare providers and cancer alliances have worked together to identify ring-fenced diagnostic and surgical capacity for cancer treatment, including using the additional capacity negotiated within the independent sector.</p><p>The newly formed Cancer Recovery Taskforce will oversee the development of the cancer recovery plan and review progress against objectives.</p> more like this

At present, clinically vulnerable people in England are advised to follow the same advice as the rest of the population. unstar this property answer text <p>The NHS Long Term Plan made a commitment to expand the geographical coverage of NHS services for people with serious gambling problems.</p><p>In addition to the existing National Problem Gambling Clinic in London, the National Health Service has committed to opening an additional 14 new problem gambling clinics by 2023/24. The NHS Northern Gambling Service in Leeds opened in 2019 and now has satellite sites in Manchester and Sunderland. The NHS Mental Health Implementation Plan has committed to spending a total of £6 million on gambling-related harms by 2023/24.</p><p>As part of the Long Term Plan, NHS England and NHS Improvement are improving referral routes for mental health services in primary care, by focusing on the integration of services.</p> more like this

Identity verification is built into the process in order to minimise the risk of fraudulent ordering.</p><p>If an individual is not willing or able to undertake the identity verification provided by TransUnion, they should call 119 for further assistance, or seek to book an appointment at a regional test site or mobile testing unit, where a member of staff will confirm their identity in person.</p><p>TransUnion provides identity verification checks as part of the registration process for a home test kit. unstar this property answer text <p>The Adult Social Care Winter Plan published on 18 September sets out the actions we are taking at a national level to support those who provide and receive care. It also outlines the actions every local area (local authorities and National Health Service partners) and every care provider must be taking right now to protect residents and staff in care homes.</p><p>Our commitments in The Adult Social Care Winter Plan includes:</p><p>- Continuing to engage with local authorities, care providers, people with care and support needs, and their families and carers to understand their needs and provide support;</p><p>- Provide £546 million through the Infection Control Fund, set up in May, which has now been extended until March 2021, to help the care sector restrict the movement of staff between care homes to stop the spread of the virus;</p><p>- We will support care homes and domiciliary care providers by providing free PPE for their Covid-19 needs until March 2021;</p><p>- Making the flu vaccine available for free to all health and care staff, personal assistants, and unpaid carers; and</p><p>- Introducing tightened measures which will enable residents and their loved ones to have safe visits to care homes.</p><p>Working together will ensure that high-quality, safe and timely care is provided to everyone who needs it, whilst protecting people who need care especially those who are older or living with underlying health conditions who may be more vulnerable to the virus, their carers and the social care workforce from COVID-19.</p>

There are robust processes in place to hold NHS England and NHS Improvement to account and action to ensure compliance with different performance standards is discussed in the course of this process.</p><p>Guidance issued by NHS England and NHS Improvement at the end of July set the ambition for providers to recover elective services in October to 90% of last year’s levels for admissions, and 100% for outpatients.
