	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 01/05/2019 answer text <p>​​Lebanon's refugee crisis has been raised with the Lebanese Government by the UK Prime Minister, Department for International Development and the Foreign &amp; Commonwealth Office; most recently in March by former Minister of State for the Middle East and North Africa, Alistair Burt. Lebanon has shown enormous generosity in hosting an estimated 1.5 million Syrian refugees. The UK is supporting Lebanon to meet the humanitarian needs of both refugees and vulnerable Lebanese communities. We support the UN judgement that conditions in Syria are not yet conducive for return. Syrian authorities bear responsibility for improving conditions for return, including providing verifiable assurances on security, safety, and respect for international law. While we recognise Israel's legitimate need to deploy security measures, we encourage them to deploy these in a way which minimises tension and to use appropriate force. We have stressed in particular the need to protect children. We have repeatedly made clear to the Israeli authorities our serious concern at the increase in demolitions of Palestinian properties in Area C of the West Bank and in East Jerusalem. We are aware of reported discussions between the detaining authorities in north-east Syria and the Iraqi authorities about possible transfer of Iraqi nationals for prosecution in Iraqi courts. We are not aware of any such discussions with the Syrian regime. If a UK national returns from Syria, it is for the police and Crown Prosecution Service to decide if they should be prosecuted, which is a decision partly based on the available evidence. Individuals can be convicted in UK courts of offences committed overseas (including preparation of terrorism, encouragement of terrorism and membership of a proscribed organisation). We have raised this issue with the Indian Government. I discussed the situation in Kashmir with the Indian Foreign Secretary on my visit to India in March this year. We remain deeply concerned about the human rights situation in Gaza and support the Palestinian Authority returning to administer Gaza. The UK maintains a no contact policy with Hamas in its entirety. The Foreign Secretary discussed Gaza with new Palestinian Prime Minister Shtayyeh on 20 March. In our statement on 22 March we reiterated our position that the UK views the Golan Heights as territory occupied by Israel. Annexation of territory by force is prohibited under international law, including the UN Charter. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 17/04/2019 answer text <p>​We have closely followed the case of Doan Thi Huong in relation to her role in the murder of Kim Jong-nam. Murder charges in her case have been dropped after she pleaded guilty to a lesser charge and she is expected to be freed by the Malaysian authorities in May 2019. The Foreign Secretary has not had discussions with his Malaysian counterpart on the legalities her specific case, however Foreign and Commonwealth Office officials in Kuala Lumpur continue to follow developments closely.</p><p>The UK supported the June 2018 Decision of the Conference of States Parties of the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) that condemned the use of the nerve agent VX in the attack in Kuala Lumpur in 2017.
