This accounted for 1.3% of all completed hate crime prosecutions. The Crown Prosecution Service is working closely with criminal justice partners to ensure the support offered to complainants and witnesses in hate crime cases is tailored to meet their individual needs.</p><p>The majority of hate crime prosecutions (75.4%) result in a guilty plea from defendants, reducing the need for complainants and witnesses to give evidence in court. However, where live evidence is required, the CPS is committed to supporting them to give their best evidence. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 20/02/2019 answer text <p>Renewable electricity technologies are currently supported by the Contracts for Difference scheme, for which we have made up to £557 million available as announced in our Clean Growth Strategy. We are also investing £177 million in innovation funding to further reduce the costs of renewable technologies.</p><p> </p><p>In June 2018, we launched our landmark Nuclear Sector Deal, worth over £200 million, which will reduce costs, drive innovation and increase diversity across the sector. We are also investing a further £2.5 billion to support low carbon innovation up to 2021.</p><p> </p><p>The Government has been supporting low carbon and renewable heating through the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) since 2011. The non-domestic RHI offers support to businesses, charities and public bodies for a range of technologies and fuel uses. The domestic RHI, introduced in 2014, supports householders in installing biomass boilers, air-and ground-source heat pumps and solar thermal installations.</p><p> </p><p>As of December 2018, the RHI has supported over 85,000 participants in transitioning to low-carbon heating: over 19100, through the non-domestic scheme and nearly 66,000 through the domestic scheme. Large UK businesses must report on their payment practices every six months and we have created the Small Business Commissioner to address late payment complaints.</p><p> </p><p>In October, BEIS launched a public Call for Evidence to understand the impact of late payment on SMEs and to seek views on how we can go further to tackle the problem. The call for evidence closed on 29 November with nearly 300 responses. It is not possible to monitor all of the phishing attacks on the UK. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 12/02/2019 answer text <p>Along with NATO Allies, we strongly support the US findings that Russia's development and deployment of its SSC-8 cruise missile system amounts to a material breach of the INF Treaty. This reflects a broader pattern of Russian behaviour that is intended to weaken the overall Euro-Atlantic security architecture. The Treaty's six-month withdrawal process offers Russia a final opportunity to return to full and verified compliance and respect its Treaty obligations.</p><p>The UK is engaged with NATO to assess the military implications for NATO in the event that Russia does not return to verifiable compliance. We remain confident in our capabilities and our ability to effectively deter and defend against Russian attempts to undermine Euro-Atlantic security. We will continue to consult regularly with Allies to keep the fielding of Russian intermediate range missiles under close review. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 29/01/2019 answer text <p>The Gambling Act 2005 sets out licensing objectives which underpin the regulation of gambling in Great Britain. They include the protection of vulnerable people from being harmed or exploited by gambling.</p><p>All operators providing gambling facilities to consumers in Great Britain must be licensed by the Gambling Commission and comply with licence conditions. These include requirements to prevent underage gambling, to intervene when a customer shows signs of being at risk of harm and to offer the facility to self-exclude. Operators may also be required to make tools available to help players manage their gambling, such as setting time or spend limits.</p><p>In May last year the Government published its <em>Review of Proposed Changes to Gaming Machines and Responsibility Measures,</em> which set out a package to strengthen protections further. The response can be found at: <a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/consultations/consultation-on-proposals-for-changes-to-gaming-machines-and-social-responsibility-measures" target="_blank">https://www.gov.uk/government/consultations/consultation-on-proposals-for-changes-to-gaming-machines-and-social-responsibility-measures</a></p><p> </p><p>As promised in the Review, the Government has passed legislation to reduce the maximum stake limit on B2 machines from £100 to £2. This will come into effect on 1 April 2019. Alongside this we announced action to strengthen safeguards online, including the rollout of GAMSTOP, the online multi-operator self-exclusion scheme. The Gambling Commission has consulted on tightening age and identity verification requirements and will publish a response shortly. It is likely that the figures under represent levels of online hate crime towards people with disabilities and do not cover online abuse that does not meet the criminal threshold.</p><p> </p><p>The forthcoming Online Harms White Paper will set out legislative measures to tackle the full range of online harms, including online abuse.
