star this property answer text <p>The Department for International Trade (DIT) was created in July 2016 following the result of the EU referendum and was specifically established as part of the government's EU exit strategy. Given the Department's objectives it is not possible to identify which elements of these are specifically related to EU Exit.</p><p>The amount spent on consultancy, which relates to the provision of objective advice to the Department relating to strategy, structure, management or operations in pursuit of its purposes and objectives is published in DIT's annual report and accounts and can be accessed using the following link.</p><p>https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/department-for-international-trade-annual-report-and-accounts-2017-to-2018</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>Since the Referendum on the UK’s membership of the European Union the Government has recruited, or is in the process of recruiting, 13 additional members of staff to work on economic issues at the UK Mission in Geneva, including the UK’s engagement in the World Trade Organization. Staff were recruited either internally from the Civil Service or locally in Geneva. All recruitment was carried out in-house by existing government HR teams and the specific costs attributable for the recruitment for these positions at the UK Mission are not readily available. There was no recruitment (or advertising) through external suppliers. We continue to keep the level of staffing at the UK Mission under review.</p> more like this
