	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 16/05/2018 answer text <p>The Administration Committee discussed a range of initiatives proposed to reduce the consumption of single use disposable plastics on 26 March 2018, including the introduction of the 25p charge for disposable cups on the Parliamentary Estate.</p><p>The Committee endorsed all the proposed measures including the introduction of the 25p charge, which will be implemented before the House returns from the summer recess later this year. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 16/10/2018 answer text <p>The government continues to give careful consideration to the Court’s findings.</p><p>The Investigatory Powers Act 2016 replaced large parts of the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act (RIPA) which was the subject of this challenge. This includes the introduction of a ‘double lock’ which requires warrants for the use of these powers to be authorised by a Secretary of State and approved by a senior judge. All claims for asylum are considered on their individual merits in line with Home Office guidance, and where people establish a genuine need for protection, or a well founded fear of persecution, refugee status will be granted.</p><p>The Home Office has plans to improve the speed at which outstanding asylum claims are decided. Such use is crucial for the development of new medicines and cutting edge medical technologies for both humans and animals, and for the protection of our environment.</p><p>The Animals (Scientific Procedures) Act 1986, as amended in 2012, requires that testing only takes place where no scientifically satisfactory non-animal alternative method exists. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 09/07/2018 answer text <p>As I announced on 19 June, the Government is undertaking a two-phase review looking at the scheduling of cannabis. Part one of the review considered international evidence for the medicinal and therapeutic benefits of cannabis and cannabis based medicinal products. Professor Dame Sally Davies, who also serves as the Chief Medical Advisor to the Government and Chief Medical Officer for England, took this forward independently.</p><p>This part of the review is now complete and the report was published on 3 July. Also on 3 July, the Home Secretary commissioned the Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs (ACMD) to undertake part two of the Review. Supported by the Home Office and the Department of Health and Social Care, the Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs will consider the appropriate schedule for cannabis related products, based on the balance of harms and public health requirements. The ACMD will not reassess the evidence issued by Professor Dame Sally Davies.</p><p>I can confirm that my department has not received any representations from pharmaceutical companies on the use of medicinal cannabis in the last two years.
