The cost of repainting In-Service submarines is dependent on the Class and will vary with the individual platform material state. These costs form part of wider submarine maintenance contracts and are not easily identifiable separately.</p><p>In a similar manner, for decommissioned submarines, the cost forms part of the Survey and Docking Periods, which are conducted every 12 to 15 years; these costs also vary dependent on the Class of Submarine and individual material state.</p> more like this

For package One, Command, Liaison and Logistic vehicles, the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle manufactured by Oshkosh has been identified as the preferred option. No final decisions have yet been made.</p><p>For package Two, Troop Carrying Vehicles and Future Protected Battlefield Ambulances, a competition is on-going which includes General Dynamics UK Ltd and Thales UK Ltd.</p><p>We have regular discussions with industry about this programme. For both of these packages, it is still too early in the procurement process to comment on potential UK jobs.</p> more like this
