answer text <p>Gas demand (gas used) is published in <a href="https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/1053835/ET_4.1_DEC_21_v2.xlsx" target="_blank">Energy Trends Table 4.1</a>, with data up to September 2021. Data for October to December 2021 will be released in this table on 31 March 2022.</p><p> </p><p>Gas imports and gas extracted are published in <a href="https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/1050093/ET_4.2_JAN_22.xlsx" target="_blank">Energy Trends Table 4.2</a>, with data up to November 2021. Data for December 2021 will be released in this table on 24 February 2022. See <a href="https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/1050095/ET_4.4_JAN_22.xlsx" target="_blank">Energy Trends Table 4.4</a> for a breakdown of import sources.</p><p> </p><p>Gas extracted onshore and offshore is published in the Digest of UK Energy Statistics in <a href="https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/1025455/DUKES_F.2.xls" target="_blank">Table F.2</a>, with data up to 2020. Data for 2021 will be released in this table on 28 July 2022.</p><p> </p><p>Forecasts of gas extraction and demand in each year to 2050 are published by the Oil and Gas Authority in their <a href="https://www.ogauthority.co.uk/data-centre/data-downloads-and-publications/production-projections/" target="_blank">Projections of UK oil and gas production and expenditure</a>. There are not forecasts for imports, or a breakdown for offshore and onshore production.</p>

answer text <p>We have received representations concerning the recruitment of overseas doctors under Tier 2 (General), our main immigration work route for non-EEA workers. The minimum salary thresholds were set following consultation with the independent Migration Advisory Committee and are based on pay scales published by the NHS – and have not been recently changed.</p><p>When we receive more applications than the number of places available in any given month, priority is given – through the award of points– first to occupations in UK shortage as identified by the independent Migration Advisory Committee, then to PhD-level occupations, and followed by economically valuable jobs paying higher salaries.</p> more like this
