They work with officials across our network to provide information about the local police and legal system and guidance on repatriation. They also provide updates on investigations and trials. We have recently discussed this situation in India-administered Kashmir with representatives of the Indian Government. We encourage all States to ensure that their domestic laws are in line with international standards. We raise the issue of Kashmir, including human rights, with the Governments of India and Pakistan. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 18/04/2018 answer text <p>Following the victory of President Maada Bio in the Presidential run-off in Sierra Leone on 4 April, there were sporadic outbreaks of violence, but the country remained largely calm. The President issued a statement condemning the violence and has initiated a cross-party committee to address incidents of political violence and intimidation across the country.</p><p>The UK worked closely with Sierra Leone on election preparations and has done considerable work on policing and security sector reform to support stability in the country. We were pleased to see the Sierra Leone Police and security services respond well to the challenges of the election period.
